98 Ford Windstar steering return hose problem.?

It is in parts, definitely not a problem for diagnosis. My problem comes with the replacement of the hose. Which is necessary to replace a rubber tube connected by one of the corrugated metal sleeves to a metal pipe, but the hose that I have to be replaced by a rubber tube is clear that has one of those things spring clip on it. This link shows the type of installation already there: http://www.bimmerboard.com/forums/posts/1262 This link shows the type of clip that is in the replacement hose: http://www.allproducts.com/metal/wilin/12hs.html Is there an easy way to remove the hose rubber / metal pressing thing to allow the connection of the hose again? It turns out that NAPA gave me the wrong party. The right side seems clearer.

the best way is to get a pair of side cutters and pressed metal clip. leaving the old line, On line since new rubber. i do not use tweezers sudgest has provided us with the line. instead of getting 2 3 / 8 hose clamps and use them in place. less of a chance of them compaired to the other flight. Hope that helps
