2004 e46 BMW 316Ti AUX, I need help!?
I bought an aux cable to fit into my car so I can use my mp3 player in my car but I'm having problems. The cable is a real part of BMW, part number 82 11 0149389. I have the standard BMW radio with tape and a 6 CD changer in the rear. The connected with the instructions, but when I hit the AUX mode button never appears on the screen. First I thought the brand after stopping it working Bluetooth kit, but I disconnected and still no luck. Now I'm thinking maybe the CD changer, but it is a genuine BMW CD changer. or perhaps a faulty cable?? Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
If your CD changer still works … you do not have the aux plug connected to the radio properly. You can not have both one or the other. It's been a while since I installed one, but its the same deal with the ipod cable.
