New BMW 1 Series Coupé makes its debut us
The much anticipated BMW 1 Series Coupe model has finally arrived in the United States and made its official debut in America North at the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show. This model's high performance coupé BMW is scheduled to arrive in BMW dealerships across the U.S. from spring 2008. Only two model variants of the BMW 1 Series Coupe will be available in the U.S. market, the BMW 128i and BMW 135i. However, the suggested retail price (MSRP) BMW 1 Series Coupe has not yet been announced.
The BMW 1 Series Coupé presented at the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show is powered by a line of 3.0-liter engine 6-cyinder that generates 230 horsepower and produces 200 lb-ft of torque. A more powerful engine variant for the 135i Coupe is equipped with BMW's twin-turbocharged in-line 3.0-liter six-cylinder that pumps 300 horsepower and gets an incredible 300 pounds-feet of torque from 1,400 rpm. These engines have the most advanced fuel system, as Valvetronic valvetrain management, direct piezo gasoline injectors, twin low-mass turbochargers and engine coolant to the letter.
The all new BMW 1 Series Coupe for the U.S. market has a sporty and aggressive with its muscular stance. The long bonnet coupe and long wheelbase embodies exterior design features of the BMW models. Other highlights of the exterior of the BMW 1 Series Coupé presented at the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show include aerodynamic M Kit, trunk with integrated spoiler, and lip spoiler.
Moving inside, the BMW 1 Series Coupe comes with a wide range of services and technologies within Car including high quality leather or rich leather Boston, upholstery, 60/40 split rear seat, iDrive system with the optional navigation system, pearl bright galvanized, sports steering wheel, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, HD radio, Premium Sound System and Bluetooth interface, auxiliary input jack, and USB port for connection media players. BMW also offers optional buckets seats finished in materials highly distinctive leatherette or Boston leather.
At the point of Technically, the new BMW 1 Series Coupe comes with high quality components with aluminum suspension dual pivot front suspension and a five-link rear suspension fully independent in lightweight steel. Other technical features include BMW's Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and BMW's active steering, 18-inch wheels and performance tires, sport suspension high-performance brake system with six-piston fixed clamps on the front and two piston fixed calipers at the rear. Beware of other European models of vehicles (such as Saab models equipped with href = "http://www.swedishoemparts.com/saabtaillights.html" title = "Saab rear lights"> Saab rear lights) to reach the U.S. market.
