How to beat a possible ban on Blue Tooth

Attempts are being made by the UK government that any use of a mobile phone including hands free, to be banned. However, it is believed that this will be almost impossible to meet.

Consumers who are careful drivers have been considered against this. They argue that if you can not have a telephone conversation with the use of Bluetooth then it surely can not have any conversation in the passenger car as it will cause a distraction. In the UK, the AA and the RAC say that hands-free phones are safe, but the government is willing to leave all phone conversations by drivers.

How many people do you see driving along with discussions to encourage passengers to a big distraction? There are many mothers on the road, making the operation of the school, punishing their children while driving. This is a dangerous distraction.

Personally, when it comes to the distraction of children in a car, I'm all in favor of having a cage on board with a silencer but I was told it would be unethical.

In 2002, the automaker BMW saw this problem coming and introduced the possibility of a Bluetooth wireless connection in their vehicles. Other car manufacturers would do well to follow suit.

This allows the phone to communicate with the car without the need for a connection standard cable. Phone operation is carried out through controls on the multifunction steering wheel or via voice activation.

To enter your type technology as standard for the benefit of all car owners not only BMW buyers. It would be safer to have that conversation with the passenger.

The Transport Research Laboratory collating evidence that said that one of every 28 road traffic accidents involved a fatality distraction within the vehicle of a mobile phone. These figures again became apparent in 1997 and although Bluetooth is more widely used mobile handheld now have become illegal, many people are breaking the law.

If car manufacturers were to follow the example of BMW with mobile technology available, it would remove any excuse for breaking the law with mobile handheld devices.

O2 say that during the weekend after the iPhone launch, tens of thousands of units have been sold. This means that many more drivers on the road with the potential use of phone while driving.

A two-year study conducted in the U.S. showed that use of a cellular phone for 10 minutes before the accident was associated with a fourfold increase in the probability of causing an accident. This shows that not only the action of holding a phone instead of driving, but the distraction caused by the conversation itself.

This should be especially appropriate when making business calls on a mobile phone while driving. The concentration is diverted to the conversation for some time after the call has ended and detracts from the driver's attention to the road.

The laws have been introduced to prohibit the use of handheld phones while driving. The government has studied ways to prohibit all use of phones in a vehicle and large television campaigns have been launched on the dangers with the use of photographs reconstructed accidents for the impact factor.

Yet, people continue using their handheld mobile phones to make and receive calls and messages while driving, putting their own and others' lives at risk.

If a car manufacturer BMW, the value of their clients live then the application Bluetooth connections mobile phone and voice activated controls should be standard. At least this way, hand drivers never have to leave the wheel, all conversations are nothing more annoying than those carried out with a passenger and the driver is not breaking the law.

At the end of the day, cars are dangerous objects when combined with human error. For any driver, BMW or otherwise, the responsibility is on them. Drivers are distracted driving alone, no telephone. It will never be possible to erase all the problems associated with driving, but keeping your hands on the wheel is a good start.
