Is it possible to add Bluetooth to a BMW?
I would like to upgrade my 2001 BMW to support Bluetooth. I understand it is a new feature BMW and I should be able to work
YES. I updated my 2000 Bmw Bluetooth using an upgrade kit available for installation was Bimmernav.com ALL easy and used it originates from BMW parts. The installation was quick and easy to do. It took only about 45 minutes. The kit comes with the latest version ULF module available (DO NOT put a kit of the first generation of principles as some others might sell ULF module, as they have problems) Bluetooth is a new according to the latest cell phones that lets you connect wirelessly to other mobile phone accessories such as a laptop or a wireless headset. BMW Bluetooth system takes advantage of this functionality to allow you to use your standard Bluetooth enabled phone in your BMW, allowing safe operation hands quota while driving, plus some additional features such as voice control of mobile phone and navigation system (if you have one). nice The thing about Bluetooth is you need to physically connect the cell phone to your BMW. You can keep your phone in your pocket or purse and still use all functions. Any images that show the mobile phone into a cradle are just illustrating the optional charging and the drive to your mobile phone using the antenna BMW optional add-on adapters. With the BMW Bluetooth system you can use the BMW steering wheel and radio controls to navigate the cell phone calendar, dial numbers, increase volume, etc.. The system also allows voice control of phone, voice control of your navigation system and notepad (to save a message to yourself for later playback)
