Remove the CD / navigation DVD (posterior compartment of the trunk on the left) and see if it really is a card from the Japanese version. If that means no other solution is to replace the map DVD. If not specifically Japanese, the navigation system must be reprogrammed / coded using a disc navigation program by BMW. Otherwise, the car / Memory key settings can be checked using a settlement system or V.44 or GT1 Ista P and adjusted as necessary. Then you can go to the store and buy a new BMW CD. They are $ 200.00.
